Eventing - CCI*** Boekelo, Netherlands, 9 - 12 October 2003 Irish Recover To Take Top Spot

Ireland recovered from a difficult start to clinch a splendid victory in the Team competition at Boekelo today (Sunday).

Having trailed in 8th place following the completion of the opening Dressage event on Friday, the Irish team of Jonty Evans, Jayne Harrison, Susan Shortt and Louisa Clarke held their nerve as they watched their opponents fall away during the Cross Country and Show Jumping events.
