South Essex Acts To Bring Down 4X4 Premiums For Horse Owners

Four-wheel drive vehicles mean different things to different people - to some a fashion accessory but to equestrian fans a work horse!

Now South Essex Insurance Brokers is linking two of its areas of expertise, horses and vehicles, to offer a better deal for horse owners and their 4x4s.

"Premiums have risen on 4x4s because of their growth as a fashion accessory used for the school runs and shopping," said South Essex equestrian director David Buckton. "The insurance risks when used by horse owners to tow trailers and move hay and straw are totally different."
